Sandown, NH – Ernest J. Doucette, 70, of Sandown, NH and a former longtime resident of Haverhill, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 21, 2019 after a courageous, year-long battle with cancer. He was born in Haverhill on May 25, 1948, son of the late Deloss E. and Barbara L. (Bunker) Doucette. Ernest shared over 52 years of marriage with his wife, Luella S. Doucette.

In addition to his beloved wife, Ernest is survived by his sons, Richard E. Doucette, his wife Noelle and their son Lukas R. of Sandown, NH and Ernest J. Doucette III, his wife Sheila and his children Kristi and Christopher of MA. He also leaves his siblings, Deloss Doucette, Jr. and wife Lynne of Newton, NH, Deborah Tardy of Haverhill, MA and Judith Nolan of Hampstead, NH as well as several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Services will be private. The family would like to thank the entire staff at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill for their compassionate and kind support in caring for Ernest in his final days.
