Obituary for Ervin Martin Spangler Print Ervin Martin Spangler, Sr., 83, of Zachary, LA, died peacefully Saturday, January 26, 2019, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born October 4, 1935 in York, PA, the son of the late Clarence and Edna Spangler. Ervin was dedicated to his lifelong career in the electrical supply industry.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly, his children, Ervin Jr, Brian, Clarence, Diane, Timothy, Ramona, Mike, Beverly, and Debra, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his siblings Hazel Sniff, Donald Spangler, and Carolyn Eschete (Bruce) and predeceased by his daughter, Ann Marie, and his brother, Clair Spangler. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are Donald Spangler and Artie Zimmerman.

Visitation at Charlet Funeral Home in Zachary, LA will begin at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, January 31, 2019, followed by a memorial service at noon.
