OBITUARY Essie T. Jones February 18, 1931 – September 28, 2018 Essie Tarrer Jones, 87, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, North Gate Section.

Pastor Jeremy Singletary will officiate. The family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 the morning of the service. Mrs. Jones was born in Cordele, Georgia the daughter of the late Ida Lee Tarrer and Henry Tarrer.

She was the widow of David Hayslip and was preceded in death by a son, Allan Hayslip. Mrs. Jones was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Jones is survived by her children, David Hayslip (Connie), Bobby Hayslip (Cindy), Jerry Hayslip (Jeanie), Prestley Hayslip (Barbara), Preston Hayslip (Janet); 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; sisters, Annette Smith (David) and Leola Bartlett (Wayne).
