Ethan Michael Hovey of Urbana was born October 21, 2018. Ethan passed peacefully at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana in the arms of his Grandma on Saturday, October 27. His Papa, Pastor Naomi Roberts, and his guardian angel NICU nurse, Stephanie, all stayed faithfully by his side as he received his wings.

Ethan was the son of Mariel Hovey of Urbana. Ethan is survived by his brother Alexander Gibson and grandparents Michael and Suzanne Hallihan of Urbana, as well as many loving family members. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Carle, the Peoria OSF Life Flight Crew, and the Department of Children and Family Services.

A private service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in Ethan’s name to Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church, 2201 County Road 900 Champaign, IL 61822.
