Mrs. Buchan was born on July 7, 1930, in Douglas, Georgia to the late Thomas Mike Johnson and Udell Bordeaux Johnson. Survivors include: Daughters: Sandra (Lauren) Nobles of St Simons Island, GA, Freida Hutchison of Douglas, GA, Chera (Joel) Ganger of Douglas, GA.

Sister: Dorothy Duke of Douglas, GA. : Eight Grandchildren, thirteen Great Grandchildren, and one Great Great Grandchild . Preceded by: Husband: Derward Frank Buchan, Father: Thomas Mike Johnson, Mother: Udell Bordeaux Johnson, Son-in-Law: Bobby Hutchison.

The family will receive friends Friday, December 14, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sims Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
