OBITUARY Evelyn Ruth (Pallasch) Marsh January 15, 1924 – July 16, 2018 Evelyn Ruth Pallasch Marsh, 94, of McGaheysville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 16, 2018. She was born on January 15, 1924 in Thompson, North Dakota and was the daughter of the late William and Emma Kurpick Pallasch. Evelyn graduated from Central High School in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

She was employed at Rohr Industries building aircrafts for WWII. She also worked at Woolworth, Johnson Five & Dime, Nelsons Kid Korral before moving to Oregon in 1987. In 2010 she moved to the McGaheysville area to be with her daughter; and was a member of Horizon Christian Fellowship Church.

Evelyn had many interests and hobbies, including reading, sewing, painting, drawing, singing and playing the piano. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles with her bright mind up until she passed away. On April 2, 1946 she married Norris N. Marsh who preceded her in death on May 21, 1994.

She is survived by a daughter, Vicky Breen and husband, Ron, of McGaheysville; a son, Raymond Marsh of California; four grandchildren, Taryn Marsh, Ronny Breen, Amalie Davis and Jennie Stewart; nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Louise and brother, William. Honoring her wishes, she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
