Obituary for Evelyn M. Sienko Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Ascension St. Mary’s. Age 92 years. The daughter of the late Peter and Marie (Weslock) Bender, Evelyn was born on April 9, 1926 in Saginaw, Michigan.

She graduated from St. Mary’s High School Class of 1943. She married Anthony Sienko on April 3, 1948 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He predeceased her in 1995.

Evelyn was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church and St. John Vianney Catholic Church. She was the owner and operator of Deluxe Auto Parts for many years. Surviving to cherish her memory are six daughters, Mary and Rick Preston, Toni and Steve Hubbard, Jayne and George Estrada, Becky and Howard Grunwell, Carolyn and Joe Schaeffer, Joann and Tom Zadrozny; a son-in-law, Otto Duve; 17 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren with an angel on the way.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her daughter Jacalyn Duve, son-in-law Dan Huyck and a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Bill Clark. Funeral Liturgy will take place 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 10, 2018 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Casimir Catholic Church 2122 S. Jefferson, Saginaw. Rev.

Fr. William Rutkowski will officiate with entombment in Mt. Olivet Mausoleum.

Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Vigil Service will take place 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
