Wyoming – Father Thomas R. Brajkovich, 87, of Hopedale, formerly of Wyoming and Chillicothe, passed away at 11:28 a.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Hopedale Medical Complex. Father Tom was born on June 15, 1931 in Cleveland, OH, the son of John F. and Lucille (Jacovich) Brajkovich and the foster son of Anton and Lorrain (Lehman) Jacovich. Surviving are one brother, John (Marge) Brajkovich of Marblehead, OH; two sisters, Shirley Brajkovich of Cleveland, OH and Joan (Rich) Oliver… Read More » of Port Charlotte, FL; one nephew; ten nieces; one foster nephew; and two foster nieces.

He was preceded in death by both his parents and foster parents; one brother, Donald; one sister-in-law, Vi Brajkovich; and one foster sister, Jeanette Jacovich Beechler. Father Tom obtained his bachelor’s degree and attended four years of seminary before he was ordained a priest on May 28, 1961. He served the diocese of Peoria until his retirement in 2003, last serving at St. Dominic parish in Wyoming.

A funeral mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Wyoming. Monsignor Tim Nolan and Deacon Harley Chaffe will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at church on Wednesday.

Burial with military honors will be in Wyoming Cemetery. Haskell-Hott Funeral Homes in Wyoming is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
