Tell City, Indiana Eleanor “Faye” Elder, 76, passed away September 29, 2018 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born in Tell City, Indiana on January 18, 1942 to the late Linus, Sr. and Wanda (Davis) Haller. Also preceding her in death were brothers, Linus Haller, Jr. and Dennis Haller and son in law, Mark Burst.

Faye was a 1960 graduate of Tell City High School. She was united in marriage on August 11, 1980 to Edward Elder. She had worked at General Electric and was owner of Faye’s Beauty Shop.

She enjoyed bingo, playing cards, going to casinos and cooking. Surviving is her husband, Ed Elder, Tell City; daughters, Connie Fulk (Michael), Cadiz, Kentucky, Rhonya Hardesty, Tell City, Tina Burst, Tell City and Gwen Hardesty, Deltona, Florida; sister, Linda Paulin (Clifford), Terre Haute, IN; brother, Dr. Gary Haller (Kathy), Holland, IN; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel.

Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00-8:00 PM and Tuesday 9:00-10:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be to Hosparus Inpatient Care Center of Louisville.
