Mr. Felton H. Tidwell, 90 of Newnan, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Newnan Health & Rehabilitation. Felton was born April 12, 1928 in Bibb County, GA to the late Ethridge Tidwell & Minnie Wainright Tidwell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Lurline Pinson Tidwell.

Felton’s fun-loving personality endeared him to many. Whether being Santa Claus at Christmas or welcoming friends at church, he always had a smile. He worked many years at Bonnell driving a truck and later working in the receiving department.

Felton was a member of Sylvan Lodge #429 and a Shriner. He and his wife were longtime members of South Metro Ministries before joining Friendship Baptist Church. The funeral is Friday, January 25, 2019 at 11:00 o’clock in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home with Pastor Allan Mathura & Rev.
