Roberta Langley Avery, 74 of Newnan, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. She was born September 15, 1944 in Manchester, GA to the late Roy Howard Langley & Annie Horne Langley. Roberta was a graduate of Newnan High School and Falls Business College.

She worked for C&S Bank for several years before joining Georgia Power. During her 32 years as an Executive Assistant at Georgia Power, Roberta made many lifelong friendships she and her husband cherished. Roberta was a past member of the Executive Women International and the Pilot Club of Newnan.

She and her husband are members of the Newnan Presbyterian Church. The visitation is Tuesday evening between 6:00-8:00 at McKoon Funeral Home. The funeral is Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 11 o’clock in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home with Rev.

David Jones & Dr. Harry Barrow officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Rather than flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to the National Kidney Foundation Attention Finance Department, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016 or www.
