Obituary for William Stephen Dreisbach William (Bill) S. Dreisbach, age 84, passed away on December 29, 2018, at Avalon Health & Rehabilitation in Newnan, Georgia. William (Bill) was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania and was the son of the late John Patrick and Elizabeth Anne Fenstermacher Dreisbach. He graduated from Allentown Catholic High School and after four years in the Air Force, completed his studies at The Pittsburg Institute of Aeronautics.

He was employed with Eastern Airlines for 30 years as a lead aircraft mechanic until his retirement. He served as a volunteer fireman for about 20 years, while living in Marlton, N.J., Red Oak, GA, and Fayette County, GA and enjoyed every hour he served. He was a member of St. George Catholic Church in Newnan.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son-in-law, David Kitchens. He is survived by his wife, Trudy Dreisbach, with whom he shared 54 years of a wonderful marriage. He was dedicated to his children, Mary Dreisbach Kitchens of Sharpsburg; his son John Dreisbach, and wife Melinda of Hampton, GA.

The light of his love shown brightly on his grandchildren, Emily Kitchens and Kelsey Kitchens of Sharpsburg, GA. Also surviving are his brothers, Karl Dreisbach and wife Sandy of Savannah, GA; Phillip Dreisbach, M.D. and wife Janette of Palm Springs, CA. There is a large extended family of nieces and nephews and include Luke Dreisbach, M.D., Raphael Dreisbach, Jude Dreisbach, Elizabeth Dreisbach, Catherine Derry, John Dreisbach, Jacob Dreisbach, Jeramiah Dreisbach, M.D., Constance Torres, and their spouses and 25 great nieces and nephews.

Those who wish to honor Bill’s life of love and accomplishment may do so by memorial contributions to either St. George Catholic Church, 771 Roscoe Road, Newnan, GA 30263 or the Community Health Foundation, 1005 Boulder Dr., Gray, GA 31032. A visitation with a rosary will be on Friday, January 4, 2019 at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, Newnan, GA from 6 PM to 8 PM. The funeral mass will be on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at St. George Catholic Church at 11:00 AM with Father Henry Atem as celebrant.
