Obituary for Fernando Humberto “Bert” Navas Fernando Humberto “Burt” Navas, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the age of 72. He was preceded in death by his son, Gustavo A. Navas; his parents, Ernesto M. Navas and Delores U. Navas; his brother, Gustavo A. Navas; and his father-in-law, Frank J. Nettles. He is the beloved husband of Judith “Vieja” Navas.

He is the devoted and loving father of Michael H. Navas (Dawlin Lauren T. Navas) and Bradley A. Navas. He is the devoted grandfather of Victoria L. Navas, Brianna N. Navas, and Ethan M. Navas. He is cherished brother of Luis A. Navas.

He is the loving son-in-law of Vernie S. Nettles and the loving brother-in-law of Robert J. Nettles. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. He will be greatly missed by his Vieja and all who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 beginning at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA.
