Obituary for Rose Marie Buras Jaspriza Rose Marie Buras Jaspriza was born on January 8, 1932 and entered into eternal life on June 27, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. A native of Empire, LA currently residing in Belle Chasse, La. Beloved wife of 67 years to Warren V. Jaspriza.

Mother of Warren V. (Rennie) Jaspriza, Jr. (Sharon) and Marla Jaspriza. Grandmother of Jamie Bell and Jana Watson (Frank). Great-Grandmother to Hailey Bell, Brayden Bell and Marley Watson.

Sister of Carol Cothern (Bob) and Janice Wilkins (Howell) and the late Elaine Borne. Daughter of the late Cyril and Marie Buras. She is also survived by many other loving nieces and nephews.

She was a longtime secretary at Buras High School and Delta Heritage Academy and was the owner of The Personal Touch embroidery shop. She served as secretary to the Plaquemines Oyster Association and volunteered many years as the weigh station record keeper for the Empire South Pass Tarpon Rodeo. She was a gifted seamstress who loved to crochet, quilt and embroider.

She cherished time spent with her family especially attending all of the sporting events, recitals, school activities and anything in which they were involved. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 8968 Hwy 23, Belle Chasse, LA on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 12 PM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
