Obituary for Betty Hartmann Childress Betty Hartmann Childress passed away peacefully on June 22, 2018 at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of Robert F. Childress Sr. Mother of Rhonda C. Krawiec (John) and Robert F. Childress Jr. (Julie Boudreaux). Grandmother of Casey Childress (Anna).

Great-grandmother of Kade Nichols and Hadley Mae Childress. Sister of the late Carl “Frank” Hartmann. Daughter of the late Lucille Anderson McLaughlin and Charles F. Hartmann.

Also survived by other loving relatives and friends. Betty graduated from Warren Easton High School, Class of 1958 and worked for many years as a clerical supervisor for New Orleans Mental Health Services and later as office manager for Dr. Robert Dahmes. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Heart of Hospice for the kindness and compassion shown during this difficult time.
