Obituary for Albert “Al” Alan Townsend Albert “Al” Alan Townsend, of Marrero, LA, passed peacefully at 10:00 am on June 10, 2018, at the age of 52, while surrounded by his loving family. Al was preceded in death by his mother, Kay Carol Pfeilstucker Townsend, his father, Alan Townsend, and brother, Rob Townsend. Al is survived by his loving wife and life partner of 33 years, Tammy Ann d’Aquin Townsend, daughter, Mercedes Ann Townsend, and son, Cody Patrick Townsend.

Al also leaves behind his brother, Tim Townsend, his other siblings, and his loving extended family who stretch from Marrero, LA to Portage, PA. A true Louisiana sportsman, Al loved to fish, was a long-time season ticket holder for the New Orleans Saints, and was an enthusiastic (to say the least) LSU fan and dad, spending most weekends in Baton Rouge while his children attended LSU. Mass will be held in Al’s memory at Immaculate Conception Church, 4401 7th Street, Marrero, LA, on Saturday, June 16, at 10:00 am.
