Obituary for Florence “Bobbie” Brooks Coffman Florence “Bobbie” Brooks Coffman, 91 of Mandeville, LA died peacefully on Friday, November 09, 2018, at home surrounded by family. Born, Friday, April 01, 1927 in Washington, D.C. to Eugene Brooks and Annie Clogherty Brooks. Survived by her Daughters – Christine Coffman Slote (Stephen), Roberta Ann Coffman, Son – Kurt Coffman and his partner Sergio Rodriguez, Granddaughter – Kolbe Rae Stole and her fiancé Christopher Uhl.

She was predeceased by her Husband – Henry Kolbe Coffman, Father – Eugene Brooks, Mother – Annie Brooks, Brothers – Eugene Brooks, Jr., Joseph Brooks and Sister – Ann Brooks. Bobbie is said to have never met a stranger. She loved her time with friends at Pelican Athletic Club for the YES Group, her countless hours spent volunteering at Lakeview Regional Medical Center, attending worship services on Sunday at St. Timothy UMC and spending the rest of her time with her loving family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at St. Timothy United Methodist Church, 335 Asbury Dr. Mandeville, LA 70448. Visitation on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 10:00 AM to service time. A reception at St. Timothy United Methodist Church Family Life Center following the service.
