Florence Maurer, 96, of Milford, De. Went to be with The Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 31st, 2018 at home. Florence was born in Gibralter, Pa, the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Demkovic.

She worked as a talented seamstress for many years, finishing her career at Draperies, Etc, of Milford before retiring. She was an avid bird watcher, especially hummingbirds. She enjoyed sewing until her sight began to fail.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, William Maurer. She is survived by three daughters. Sharon Sensenig of Shillington, Pa.

Lisa Abraham of Fleetwood, Pa. Susan Lindale and her husband, Timothy Lindale, who where her sole caretakers; Milford, De. A step-daughter, Penny Geltz of Reading, Pa.

Whom she loved as her own Daughter. Seven Grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren. Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
