Obituary for Florence Ramsey Florence Ardell Ramsey, 87, born June 24, 1931 and passed October 4, 2018 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Preceded in death by her parents Argentine Portait and William Howard, son Kenneth Ramsey, siblings Mattie Pearl Martini, Frederick Howard, and William Howard, Jr She is survived by her children Michael (Kathy) Ramsey of Cheyenne, Wyoming, James (Linda) Ramsey of Spokane, Washington, Jeffery Ramsey of Floodwood, Minnesota, Kathleen (Bart) Lee of Hailey, Idaho, ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Born in New London, Connecticut, she moved to Wyoming after marrying. She worked for Sinclair Oil Company for twenty years, first, at Little America Hotel in Cheyenne and then at Sun Valley Company in Sun Valley, Idaho. She spent her later years in Cheyenne working for Kmart Corporation.

Florence was a loving mother and friend with a generous, kind heart. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. A celebration of Florence’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, at the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens Orangerie, 710 S.
