Floyd Allen Hummel November 26, 1943 ~ July 10, 2018 Floyd Allen Hummel, 74, residing in Plymouth, passed away peacefully at 5:15 am Tuesday, July 10, 2018 in his home. He was born November 26, 1943 in La Porte, IN to the late Howard F. and Iona J. (Hough) Hummel. On June 13, 1964 in Plymouth, Floyd married the former Mary Jean Weiger, who preceded him in death on May 3, 2015.

Floyd served his country honorably in the United States Army and worked in maintenance for a foundry prior to retirement. Floyd is survived by his daughter, Holly (Brett) Darrah of Plymouth; son, Travor Hummel of Plymouth; three grandchildren, Jamie Linsner, Bryan Hummel, and Blake Darrah; one great grandchild, Zoe Linsner; three sisters, Florence Holesovsky of Loveland, CO, Nancy Rust of Bremen and Retha (Robert) Hunsberger of Lapaz; and two brothers, Donald (Lynda) Hummel of Walkerton and Dennis (Jill) Hummel of Lapaz. He was preceded in death by one sister, Patty Cossey; and one brother, Edgar Hummel.

There will be no public services. Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Floyd may be donated to the Bremen VFW Post #8972, 1940, 1750 W Plymouth St, Bremen, IN 46506.
