Forest “Les” Stebbins, 80, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018 at home. Les was born on September 2, 1938 in Mishawaka, IN to Forest and Lucy (Gilliland) Stebbins. On March 3, 1978 in Mishawaka he married Marna Sarkisian; she preceded him in death on November 4, 2018.

Les was also preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dean Stebbins. Surviving is his daughter, Pamela (Mathew) Hazinski of Mishawaka; son, Steven (LeaAnn) Stebbins of Elkhart; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brother, Pete Stebbins of Mishawaka; sister, Mary (Al) Carter of South Bend, IN and sister-in-law, Joyce Stebbins of South Bend. Les was a 1956 graduate of Mishawaka High School and belonged to the Mishawaka Alumni Association.

He served the community as a Mishawaka Police officer before his retirement. Les was a member of the Coalbush United Methodist Church. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, November 20th at 11 a.m., with visitation at 10:30 a.m., at Coalbush United Methodist Church.
