Frances “Babe” Di Tora (nee Maiellaro), 84, a lifelong resident of Downtown Jersey City, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018. Known well as “Babe,” she loved her neighborhood and would always help out friends in need. She was a devout parishioner of Holy Rosary Church, Jersey City.

Babe enjoyed home cooked meals at holiday time and she will greatly be missed by her family. Frances was the beloved wife of the late John Di Tora; devoted mother of Rosalind and John Di Tora; loving sister of Paul “Marlu” Maiellaro and the late Michael Cosmo Maiellaro; dear sister-in-law of Antoinette Maiellaro. Visitation will be on Monday, May 7, 2018, 4:00pm to 8:00pm at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd.

, Jersey City, NJ 07306. Funeral will begin on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, 10:00am at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will follow 11:00am at Holy Rosary Church, 344 6th St., Jersey City.

Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
