Preceding her in death is her daughter Mae Rozena, parents Johnny and Frances Burgess, sisters Emily B. and Betsy Colbert and brother Randolph Burgess. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, husband William Pamplin, her children Samuel Burgess (Wonda), Betty Rucker (John), Billy J. Burgess, Ernestine Burgess, Reginald A. Burgess, sister Susie Mae Walter, brothers Alfred Burgess, Johnny C., and Willie Ed Burgess, 13 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Public Viewing Friday, March 22, 2019 at Gaines Funeral Home 9116 Union Avenue Cleveland, Ohio 44105. From 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Celebration Of Life Service Saturday March 23, 2019 at St. Mark Baptist Church 11123 Buckeye Road Cleveland, Ohio 44104.
