Obituary of Frances E. Mathis Frances E. ( Weaver ) Mathis, age 87 years, of Lafayette Hill, passed away on Tuesday March 26, 2019. Frances was born in Cold Point, Pa on Tuesday August 11, 1931, daughter of the late Roy Weaver and the late Annie ( Coleman ) McDaniel Weaver. She has been living in Lafayette Hill, formerly of Conshohocken, Pa.

Frances was a member of St. John A. M. E. Church of Conshohocken, Pa, where she served as a Deaconess. Frances was a Homemaker. And she had also worked with Extracorporeal, Norristown State Hospital, Marshalls Department Store, McDonnalds Restaurant, and retired from RDL.

She enjoyed spending time painting and drawing. Wife of the late Late – James L. Mathis. She is survived by her children Mary Goins of Conshohocken, Pa, Joann Mathis Lee of Lafayette Hill, Pa , Yvonne Beatty of Lafayette Hill, Pa and Tammy Cottom of Anderson, SC.

Also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents she was preceeded in death by 3 children Stephen Mathis, Benjamin Mathis and Annette R. Beatty, and 3 siblings Mary Anderson, Hilda Scott and Luck Weaver. Her Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Apr 6 from 11:00 AM at St. John A.M.E. Church 8th Ave & Harry Street, Conshohocken.

There will be a time for family and friends to gather at the church on Saturday, Apr 6 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Services will be officiated by The Rev. Edith Payne.

Interment will be private. Memorial Contributions may be made in her memory to St. John A.M.E. Church East 8th Ave & Harry Street, Conshohocken, Pa 19428.
