Francis William Cooper, 88, of Waldorf, Maryland, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 at the Fort Washington Medical Center in Fort Washington. Born on June 22, 1930 in Budds Creek, Maryland, Francis was the son of the late Etta Talbert Cooper and Corneluis Cooper. He worked in the Custodial Services for the Montgomery County School Board.

Francis enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and had the gift to make people laugh. He loved sports and food. Francis was a Christian and attended the New Beginnings Christian Ministry.

In addition to his parents he was also predeceased by his wife, Anne N. Blackwell; his son, Paul Cooper; his siblings, Rosalee Cooper, Pearl Winters, Barlow Cooper, Thomas Cooper and Sonnyboi Cooper. He is survived by his sister, Lena Cooper and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends received on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 10AM until time of service at 11AM at Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646.
