OBITUARY Francisco A. Solis December 24, 1947 – December 30, 2018 Francisco A. Solis, age 71, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018. Francisco was born December 24, 1947 in Mexico to Ezequiel and Rosa Adame Solis. He was a very fun loving person and lived life to the fullest.

He married the love of his life, Carmen, on July 15, 1973. Francisco loved going on trips with his family. His favorite places included Mazatlan, Cancun, California – basically anywhere with a beautiful beach and a good place to fish.

He and Carmen loved spending time together doing some of their favorite things – dancing and listening to music. In addition, he was quite the connoisseur of every restaurant in Terrell and the surrounding area (not to mention finding all the great eating spots while on vacation). He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Francisco was preceded in death by his parents, Ezequiel and Rosa Solis and four siblings, Juan Solis, Ricardo Solis, Rosa Adame and Salvador Solis. Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 45 years, Carmen; children, Rolando Solis and wife Jaci, Carlos R. Solis, Myrna Solis and fiancé Sergio Betancourt and Marco Antonio Solis; brothers, Ezequiel Solis, Jr. and Raul Solis; grandchildren, Breanna Solis, Gabriel Solis and Andrew Dylan Betancourt; God-daughters, Norma Angelica Martinez and Jaime Gonzales; numerous other relatives and a host of friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 6pm to 7pm at the Anderson Clayton Funeral Home, with the Rosary being recited at 7pm.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am Friday, January 4, 2019 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church (Old Church). If friends so desire, donations in Francisco’s memory can be made to St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 702 N. Frances, Terrell, Texas 75160.
