OBITUARY Franklin D Whitt August 29, 1947 – July 9, 2018 WHITT Franklin D. age 70 of Fairborn, passed away at Grandview Medical Center on Monday, July 9, 2018. He was born in Dayton on August 29, 1947 to Myrtle (Fultz) and Wallace B. Whitt. Frank retired from Bath Township after 34 years then worked 11 years for Bowman & Wray Paving.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 44 years, Irma “Frankie” Jones; infant son, Baby Whitt; sister, Carolyn Stinson; half-sisters, Nannie, Thelma, Berniee, Ann, and Phyliss; and half-brother, Verl Whitt. Frank is survived by his daughters, Pamela (Matthew) Hollingsworth of Centerville, and Kara-lyn (Zachary) Marlowe of New Carlisle; step-children, Jenni, David, Paul, and Chris; brother, Jerry; and several grandchildren. He was an avid fisherman, a lifelong hunter, and a gardener of flowers and vegetables.

Frank was a complete outdoorsman, enjoying deer hunting & tracking, mushroom hunting, as well as ginseng, herbs, and vegetation. A visitation will be Friday, July 20, 2018 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Burcham Tobias Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St. Fairborn, Ohio, 45324 where funeral services will be held at 1 PM. Interment will follow at Byron Cemetery.
