Obituary Franklin Delano Lawrence Glade Spring, VA Franklin Delano “Chain” Lawrence, age 83, passed away Friday February 15, 2019 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, VA. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, and a member of the Abingdon Church of the Nazarene. Mr. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, Lucas and Sadie Lawrence; step mother Gay Lawrence; wife Shirley Ann Rhea Lawrence; sisters, Dixie Adams, Mary Ellen Wright, and Ruth Lawrence.
