Franklin Ellsworth Feeser, a 4th generation Carroll County Christian farmer, formerly of Taneytown, MD, died peacefully on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at his home in Savannah, MO, surrounded by his loving family. Born December 27, 1941 in Gettysburg, PA, he was the son of the late Russell Ellsworth and Genevieve (Yealy) Feeser. He was the devoted husband of Julie Anne (Levorsen) Feeser, to whom he was married for 45 years.

Frank’s passions included evaluating and raising prize-winning livestock, antiquing, attending auctions, mentoring young people and spending time with his family. He was a compassionate supporter and leader of the 4-H Youth Program and the Carroll County Fair Board. He had leadership roles in the National and Maryland Pork Producers Associations, Maryland Ag Commission, Carroll County Ag Commission, Carroll County Young Farmers and Farm Bureau, Maryland Angus Association, and Carroll County Ag Center Board.

He was the Planning and Construction Co-chair of the Carroll County Ag Center Shipley Building. Surviving, in addition to his beloved wife Julie, are his daughter Monica Jordan and husband Matthew of Savannah, MO; siblings, Richard Feeser and wife Patricia of Berlin, MD, Patricia Bean and husband William of Littlestown, PA, Sharon Rosel and husband Dennis of Silver Spring, MD, David Feeser and wife Barbara of Taneytown, and Yvonne Davis and husband Randy of Littlestown, PA; aunt, Joyce Shoemaker of Taneytown; 2nd cousin, Bertha (Baker) Shriner of Westminster; grandchildren, Ella and Samuel; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Keysville Evangelical Lutheran Church, 7301 Keysville Rd.

, Keymar, MD with Deacon Charles E. Barnhart, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Grace Reformed Cemetery in Taneytown. The family will receive friends from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. on Friday, January 4th at the CARROLL COUNTY AG CENTER, 706 Agriculture Center Drive, Westminster, MD and from 10-11a.m. on Saturday at the church.
