Mr. Franklin Jones, Sr. age 81, passed away on April 30, 2018 in his home. Mr. Jones was born in Albany, GA. Survivors include his wife, Margo B. Jones of Williamston, NC; two sons, Franklin Jones, Jr. of Griffin, GA and Michael Jones of Philadelphia, PA; and step-son, Bruce Byrd, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA; two daughters, Angela Jones of Apopka, FL and Karen Vample of Philadelphia, PA and step-daughter, Jameila Byrd of Philadelphia, PA; a brother, Marvin Jones of Albany, GA and two sisters; Merle Williams of Albany, GA and Freda St. Clair of Atlanta, GA; twenty one grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Manson Mortuary in Williamston, NC and on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Manson Mortuary. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 11:00 am at Manson Mortuary Chapel in Williamston with Pastor Marie Hooker officiating. The interment will be private.
