Obituary for Mrs. Geraldine Saddler Randolph I have fought a good fight…… Mrs. Geraldine Saddler Randolph passed on Monday, June 11, 2018 from this world into a life of eternal joy and peace with her Lord and Savior. She was born in Shelby, North Carolina to Bill Saddler and Helen Saddler on April 27, 1950. Geraldine and her family relocated to Washington, DC where she attended the public school system and graduated from Eastern High School.

Geraldine married Joseph Coy Randolph, Sr. on January 4, 1972 and travelled with him in the military. She began her career as a childcare provider with sharing her love in a child’s life. Geraldine also mothered the children at Mt.

Calvary FWB Church Daycare. For five years, she tutored and mentored the children at the Little Willie Center afterschool program. Her accomplishments were NA2 license, a certificate in Early Childhood Development and a graduate from Mt.

Calvary’s Christian College. But most assuredly, she loved to worship and praise the Lord. Her heart was toward God and forever interceding for her family’s souls.

Geraldine is preceded in death by, her father, Bill Saddler; her son, Joseph Coy Randolph, Jr.; her brother, Jerry Saddler. I have finished my race…… Geraldine leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of forty six years, Joseph Coy Randolph, Sr.; three daughters, Diantha Randolph, Anna Randolph, Regina Saddler (Sedrick) all of Greenville NC; her mother, Helen Saddler of Washington, DC; one brother, Floyd Saddler (Barbara) of Washington, DC; three grandchildren, Sedria Nelson, Nyquan Nelson, Cortez Tyler; one great grandchild, Kyzir Henderson; a host of other relatives and friends.
