Fred D. Fields, 84, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday June 24, 2018 in his residence. He retired in 2000, after 53 years at Hulman and Company. Fred was born May 12, 1934 in Terre Haute to Clarence Fields and Effie May (Lemmons) Fields.

He is survived by his wife, Mary V. (Hines) Fields; sons, Freddie Lee Fields, Eddie James Fields (Terri), and Ted Gene Fields; a daughter, Tonia Lynch; seven grandchildren, Kimberly Stephenson, Jason Lynch, Jennifer Fields, Helena Parker, Miranda Bose, Joni Pounds, and Teddie G. Fields II; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Francis Houdeshell, Shirley Martin, Rosemary Sloniker, and Virginia Hartley. Fred was a member of Riley Lodge #390 F.&A.M., Scottish Rite, Past Master’s Association, Swords of Bunker Hill, Old Timers Club, and the Indy 500 Club.

Visitation will be Wednesday June 27, 2018 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with masonic memorial services at 3:00 pm in the funeral home conducted by Riley Lodge #390, followed by funeral services with Pastor Jeff Lee officiating. Burial will be in Hull Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.
