Kenneth Dale Smith, Jr., 46, of West Terre Haute passed away Friday June 22, 2018 at 10:30 am in his residence. Kenneth was an electrician. He was born April 27, 1972 in Terre Haute to Kenneth Dale Smith, Sr. and Marsha Lane-Smith.

He is survived by his parents; daughters, Mikaila Smith and Allyssa Smith; sons, Samuel Smith and Gunner Smith; sister, Kim Brann (Donnie); brother, Todd Cooper (Pam); nieces, Brittaney Rankin, Hallie Strahla, Kylee Roberts, and Rita Gaines; great-niece, Alexis Rankin; great-nephews, Christian Rankin, Zach Roberts, Jr, and Kamdyn Roberts and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and very close friends. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kendra Smith, a son, Eli Smith and his buddy, Dallas Dean. Kenneth was a US Army veteran having served in the 82nd Airborne Rangers.

He was a member of the West Terre Haute VFW, American Legion Post #346, the Marine Corps League and was a lifetime member of Bethany United Church of Christ. Visitation will be Thursday June 28, 2018 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 2:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastors David Ward and Curtis Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery with military honors provided by West Terre Haute VFW.

Pallbearers will be Gunner Smith, Donnie Brann, Jeremy Elkins, James Buchanan, Todd Cooper, Jake Riley, David Elkins, and Marshall Klusener. For anyone needing transportation to the funeral service, please contact 8th Street Wesleyan Church at 812. 533.
