Obituary for Fred Davis Fred Davis was born July 4, 1943 in Cairo, Illinois. He was the sixth child born to Willie and Lenora Davis. Fred loved to dress up.

He was also a collector of coins, stamps, and crystals. He was a union representative and worked as a dietician at the V.A. Hospital. He retired from V.A. Hospital on August 27, 1999 after 25 years of service.

Fred made his transition on Monday November 19, 2018 while at home in the care of Jacqueline Davis. He was survived by Patricia (Ronnie) Brown, Anthony (Scarlet) Burch, Tonya Fields, and Barbara Davis. He leaves behind a lifetime of love and memories cherished with his sisters, Willia B. Woodson and Jacqueline Davis of Battle Creek, Michigan, his brothers Clarence (Jean) Davis of Battle Creek, Michigan, Curtis Barnett of Chicago, Illinois, four granddaughters, five grandsons, four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Willie Davis, mother Lenora Davis, his son Gerrod Davis, his wife Ethel Davis, his brothers Alfred Davis and Joe Wilbert Davis, his sisters Jerry Ann Gordan, Maxine Scott, and Alice Miller.
