Obituary for Steve Eugene Motter Steve Eugene Motter, 70, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at home, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 28, 1948, the son of the late Frank Ledford and Betty (Motter) Baker. He had too many jobs to mention them all, he enjoyed working at A & B Janitorial, and retired from United Steel and Wire.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; Two brothers, Marvin Packer and Bruce Packer; sister, Roxanne Fitzgerald; brother-in-law, Bobby Fitzgerald; two cousins, Mark Perkins and Tim Perkins; two sons, Luke Motter and Steve Packer Jr.; two daughters, Kandy Bloom and Tonya Orbeck. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Guy Packer and daughter, Shelly Packer. Steve enjoyed fishing, hunting, working outdoors and enjoying time with friends at Barney’s Bar.

He loved to spend time with his son, Luke. Loved his vehicles and his guns. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
