Cheryle Kae Nosek, age 68, of Battle Creek, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018. She was born February 9, 1950 in Valparaiso, Indiana the daughter of Marion Robert and Helen Laverne (Tanner) Miller. A 1968 graduate of Portage High School in Portage, Indiana she worked at Town and Country in Valparaiso for several years prior to her retirement.

She loved to cook, sew and read but her greatest love was taking care of her family. On July 19, 1975 she was married to David F. Nosek who survives. Also surviving are two daughters: Mary (Bill) Davis of Battle Creek and LaDella (Tessie) Austin of Murfreesboro, TN; two grandchildren: Gabrielle and Michael; ten brothers and sisters: Roberta (Bill) Sanford, Wayne Miller, LaDella (Ed) Bonczek, Darla Wren, Jeanette Bronson, Starlene (Bud) Harrell, Clarence Miller, Douglas Miller, Billi (Mac) McEwen and Vicky (Ron) Zernik; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Wilmetta Burroughs and Sherrine Phillips, and two brothers: Emory Miller and Robert Miller. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2018 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the service time at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
