Obituary for Fred Randall Briley Mr. Fred Randall Briley, age 78, of Big Rock, Tennessee, passed away, Sunday, November 18, 2018, at Tennessee State Veterans’ Home, Clarksville, Tennessee. He was born, April 7, 1940 in Macon County, TN, son of the late Clessie and Lois Meador Briley. A veteran of the Vietnam War, Mr. Briley served 21 years in the United States Army.

After his retirement from the military, he became a farmer. He was a member of the Gideon’s International and a Shriner. In addition to his parents, Mr. Briley is preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Cobb Briley and son-in-law, Barry Gann.

Survivors include his sons, Randy Briley, Lafayette, TN, James Briley (Jaime), Dover, TN, daughters, Palma Gann, Lafayette, TN, Belinda Mattox (Joe), Indian Mound, brother, David Briley, Hendersonville, TN, sister, Mary Jane Bullington, Westmoreland, TN, Brenda Hutchins (Doug), Murfreesboro, TN, grandchildren, Amanda Veatch, Lucy Green, Kurt Briley, Kevin Briley, Jeffery Woodward, Sara Johnson, Douglas Briley, and Devlin Briley, and 14 great grandchildren. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Anglin Funeral Home with Phillip Castile officiating. Burial with military honors will be in the Smith Cemetery, Big Rock, TN.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 pm on Monday, November 19th and from 9:00 am until the time of service on Tuesday. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN.
