Mr. Fred Varnell Jr., 76, of Jefferson, Texas passed away July 19, 2018 in Longview, Texas. Mr. Varnell was born September 21, 1941 in Oak Grove, Louisiana to Fred Varnell Sr. and Katie Sebren. Fred was a Baptist, who enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as spending time with his grandchildren and family that he loved dearly.

He was a retired master carpenter that had worked on many of the historical homes and businesses in Jefferson, Texas. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Beverly Varnell of Jefferson, Texas; son Barry Varnell and Amy of Linden, Texas; son, Bart Varnell and Amy of Jefferson, Texas; son, Bryan Varnell of Jefferson, Texas; sister, Ann Nicholson of Gilmer, Texas; grandchildren, Brad, Ashlyn, Brayden, Brennan, Brancen, Braley, Baylor; great grandchildren, Blaine, Chloe, Sadie; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. At the request of Mr. Varnell there will be no services held.
