Obituary for Freddie Arthur Davis Sr. Service for Freddie Arthur Davis, Sr. will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 6, 2018 at Chelsea Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may visit at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel in Claremore on Thursday, April 5, from 3pm-8pm. Freddie passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018.
He was 74. Born August 16, 1943 in Chelsea, Oklahoma to Winfred R. and Stella Constance (Hayes) Davis, Freddie graduated high school in Alluwe. On May 27, 1961 he married Linda Ray Pope and together they raised 5 children.
Freddie made his working career as a welder and spent over 35 years with AXH air coolers. He started at the bottom and finished as plant manager. When he wasn’t busy working, Freddie enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing.
He also loved being with his family and he took great care of them. Freddie also was Dallas Cowboys fan and made sure he watched their games on tv. Those family members that survive include his children Esty Clark of Oklahoma City, Todd Davis and wife Debbie of Ft.
Worth, Texas, James Davis and Kim Stewart both of Oklahoma City and Freddie Davis, Jr. and wife Tami of Inola; 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Freddie was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Linda. View and sign Freddie’s online tribute at www.
