Frederick E. Youngs Jr, took his last breath on Earth and his first breath in Heaven on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 after a sudden death at his residence. He was born to the late Frederick E. and Dolores (Courville) Youngs Sr on December 15, 1947 in Bay City. Fred married Jane F. Malenfant on November 29, 1969.

Fred was a man of great passion and blessed with a career he loved at Pumford Construction for 30 plus years. With his home and building designs, he left his mark on the Tri-City area and beyond. He was a true artist at living life, always using the gifts and time God gave him wisely.

Whether it was playing guitar, woodworking, designing homes, home projects, running and being involved in community organizations like Hidden Harvest of Saginaw, there was time for it all. With his insatiable thirst for knowledge and great memory capacity, dinner conversations could last for three or more hours. We will remember him best as an encourager, always helping others to see their full potential and God given gifts.

The desire of his heart was that everyone he touched would see the beauty of God’s handiwork and would come to know Jesus Christ as their personal savior. Visiting hours are Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM and Monday 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service at the Trahan Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the W. A. Trahan Funeral Chapel, 256 N. Madison at Tenth Street, Bay City, MI.
