Fredolin A. Lang, 100, Wausau, died Tuesday July 3, 2018 at Wellington Place. He was born October 26, 1917, in the town of Cassel, son of the late Frank and Mary (Heil) Lang. On September 1, 1942, he married Dorothy Busko at St. Mary Catholic Church, Dubuque, Iowa.

She survives. Fred was an Army veteran of World War II, inducted in August of 1942 and served with Battery B of the 983rd field Artillery Battalion in the South Pacific and the Philippines until 1945. He had been employed as an Auto Body Technician at the former Bob Johnson Chevrolet dealership in Wausau.

Some of his hobbies included fishing, hunting and camping. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, four children, Mary (Robert) Kuski, Green Bay, Michael (Nancy) Lang, Kronenwetter, Maxine (Clarence) Felch, Rib Mountain, Mark (Karen) Lang, Menominee Falls, 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, one great-great-grandchildren, sister, Kathryn Kratwell, Wausau. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Esther, Mary, Rose and Ruth as well as brothers, Lawrence, Francis, Edwin and Reuben.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus. Rev. Peter Kieffer will preside.

Entombment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staffs at Wellington Place and Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services for their kind, compassionate care given to Fred during his stay.
