Fredrick Ervin Jones, 75 of 279 S. 11thSt. Apt. E. transitioned on July 4, 2018 at the Hospice Home of Alamance Caswell. He was the son of John F. Jones and Helen Moore Jones.

He was a member of Hunter’s Chapel where he sang with the Male Chorus and Senior Choir and was a graduate of Central High School-Hillisborough. Survivors include: three children: Sheldon Evans, Fredra L. Jones (Ray Lee) and Latasha D. Jones; 3 grandchildren: Eric Jones, Keyvon Jones and Jamir Evans and 1 great-grandchild: Jamarion Jones and siblings: Helen Marie Johnson, Robbie Coble, Charles Jones, Mazie Riley and Robert Jones. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Nathaniel Jones, Percil Jones, Lacy Jones, Ben Jones and Mozelle J. Tate.
