Freida Graham Dixon, 76, of Muscle Shoals, AL died Wednesday, November 7, 2018. A private family visitation will be held for family at 11 a.m. with a public funeral service to follow at 12 p.m. Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Dr. Tom Whatley will be officiating.

Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. She was a member of Woodward Avenue Baptist Church and served 40 plus years as a member of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union. She enjoyed playing all types of games with friends and arguing politics.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Dixon; parents, Delton and Mae Graham; grandparents, Herman and Hattie Grissom, Ollie Guy and Laura Graham; mother-in-love, Tommie Lou Bates. She is survived by her daughters, Vicki Bates, Lisa Creel, and Dana Capers; son, Wes Dixon and wife Kim; brothers, Gene Graham and wife Linda, Joel Graham; grandchildren, Wyatt Creel and wife Heather, Matt Creel and wife Jennifer, Trey Capers, Elise Capers, Jamie Dixon, Chelsea King and husband Scott; great granddaughter, McKenzie Creel; nieces, Connie Graham, LaKristin McLeod and husband Caleb, and Hali McDonald and husband Andrew. Pallbearers will be Larry Dixon, Jamie Dixon, Jay Lewis, Matt Creel, Phillip Bates, and Andrew McDonald.

In lieu of flowers you may make donations to St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
