Veninga, Frieda Jewel, of Fenton, Missouri, was born April 13, 1930, in Leachville, Arkansas to Fred B. and Daisy (nee Littrell) Arnold and entered into rest Tuesday, May 7, 2019 in Fenton, Missouri at the age of 89 years and 24 days. She is preceded in death by, her parents, her sister Dorothy Sherill, and her brother Amos Arnold. She is survived by, four (4) children, Ben (Jann) Jackson, Ron Jackson, Tom Veninga and Katina Thomas, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, along with many other family members and friends.

Frieda loved her family and loved spending time with them at family bar-b-ques. She was a great cook. She enjoyed her music and loved to dance.

She supported her local St. Louis Cardinals and enjoyed the Rams when they were in town. Frieda was fond of butterflies, pinochle and playing dominoes. Her true passion was her work.

Frieda was a dietician at Des Peres Hospital aka St. Luke’s and worked until she was 84 years of age. She started the dietician program at Meramec in Kirkwood, Missouri. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial Service, Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 9:00 p.m. until service starting at 10:00 a.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, 425 South Woods Mill Road, Suite 110, Town and Country, Missouri 63017.
