Obituary for Garland D. Caywood Garland D. Caywood, age 83, a resident of Cleveland, passed away peacefully at his home Saturday, January 5, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Caywood was the son of the late Lillie Goode Caywood and Ben Caywood. His infant brother, Roy Caywood also preceded him in death.

Mr. Caywood worked for a number of years at Cleveland Chair and he was also a self-employed carpenter. He was a charter member of the Taylor Ruritan Club and he enjoyed the fellowship at Thompson Springs Baptist Church. He will deeply missed by his wife, Doris Hall Caywood of Cleveland, his daughter, Catherine Stacy, his son Tony Caywood and his wife Regina.

Carrying on his legacy is his grandsons, Nathan Stacy and his wife Shelby, Jason Caywood, his grand daughters, Beth Anderson and her husband Labron, Jennifer Fansler and her husband Devin, his great grandchildren, Brett and Alanna Stacy, Cheyenne and Maleah Anderson, Avery Caywood and Savannah Rose Fansler, other loving family members left behind are his sister, Nellie Poland and her husband Carl, his brother, Don Caywood and his wife Nancy and several nieces and nephews also survive. The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 1:00 P. M. from the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Reverend Kevin Teague officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Grove Church of Christ Cemetery with Jeffrey Nathan Stacy, Labron Anderson, Jason Caywood, Brett Stacy, Devin Fansler and Doug Caywood serving as casket bearers.

Honorary casket bearers will be Brian Neely and Donnie Summars. The family would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga for their help and support during their time of need. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 P. M. Monday, January 7, 2019 at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
