Garlin’s Obituary Garlin Brandenburg 81, of Connersville, IN passed from this life on Mar. 16, 2019. He was born Feb.

23, 1938 to the late Jess and Effie Flannery Brandenburg in Jackson County KY. He was the devoted husband of Christine Maggard Brandenburg who survives. He is also survived by a son Jackie (Janet) Brandenburg, granddaughter Erin (Richie) Futrell, grandson Craig (Randi) Brandenburg, great-granddaughter Annabelle Futrell of Connersville, sisters Susie Hall of Connersville, Betty Mays of McKee KY, Virginia Call of Salisbury Center NY, brothers Billy Brandenburg of Connersville, Eugene Brandenburg of Mt Vernon KY and Darrell Parrett of McKee KY.

He was preceded in death by his father Jess Brandenburg in 1942, his mother Effie Brandenburg Parrett in 2005, his brothers Willis and Clarence Brandenburg and Charles and Perry Parrett, his sisters Eulene Issacs, and Mildred Parrett. Garlin served in the army from 1956-1958. He has worked as a truck driver, over the road and locally including deliveries for Wells Lumber.

He worked D&M until its close. Through the years he has taken on many construction projects including room additions and remodeling projects. Family and friends please come help us celebrate Garlin’s life at the fellowship hall of Grace United Methodist Church at 29th and Indiana Ave.
