Obituary for Gary David Rasnake Gary David Rasnake, age 69, of Abingdon, VA passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, VA. Gary was born in Cleveland, VA and was the son of the late Carl and Ruby Fleming Rasnake. He was a retired miner and was a lifelong resident of the area.

He was a loving husband and uncle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Willis Rasnake and Lonnie Rasnake; and two sisters, Virginia Lambert and Reta Culbertson. He is survived by: His Wife, Sherry Palmer Rasnake Several nieces and nephews A host of family and friends also survive.

Graveside services for Gary David Rasnake will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Greenhills Memory Gardens, at Claypool Hill, VA with Rev. Paul Griffith officiating. Interment will follow.

Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm on Monday afternoon at the cemetery. Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia is in charge of arrangements and those wishing to express sympathy may do so online at www.
