Obituary for Gary Kimbro Reidsville: Gary Kimbro, 59, of 368 Kimbro Road, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at his home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. George M. McDowell III officiating.

The burial will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 10:00 A.M., on Saturday at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home of Wyomie Kimbro, 1538 US 158 East. Gary was born on May 11, 1959, in Rockingham County to Thomas Edward and Wyomie Smith Kimbro.

He loved playing golf and poker and also loved surf fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, two infant sisters and his grandparents, Julius and Virgie Smith and Jay and Effie Kimbro. Gary is survived by his mother, Wyomie Smith Kimbro; his brothers, Charles Kimbro and Tommy Kimbro and wife Jennifer, and nieces and nephew, Catherine Kimbro, Jake Kimbro and Graceanne Kimbro.
