Gary L. Reisdorph, age 64, of Richfield passed away of complications from cancer on Friday, April 27, 2018 in St. Cloud with his family at his side. Memorial Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Minnehaha United Methodist Church in Minneapolis with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Becky Sechrist will officiate the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society. Gary Lee Reisdorph was born on August 21, 1953 in Minneapolis to Stanley and Miriam (Storler) Reisdorph. He grew up in Richfield, graduating with the Class of 1971 from Richfield High School.

Gary served his country during Vietnam with the US Marine Corps. He worked as a machinist for NAPCO International in Hopkins. He also worked with the Northern Star Council of the Boy Scouts of America as a locksmith, gunsmith and Head Campmaster of Stearns Scout Camp in South Haven.

Gary was a member of the Minnehaha United Methodist Church in Minneapolis where he was a past Sunday School Teacher. He enjoyed playing spider solitaire on the computer and being in the outdoors. Gary was always willing to lend a helping hand and was never willing to be a burden to others, often times to the detriment of his own health.

He is survived by his brothers and sister Kim Reisdorph of New Bern, NC, Abigail Wake of Annandale and Keith Reisdorph of St. Paul; step-mother Bonnie Reisdorph; step-brother Michael (Ginger) Bender; step-sister Kathy (Jim) Ziedell; nephews and nieces Matthew (Cassie) Reisdorph, Elke Reisdorph, Robert Masters III and Christian Masters; step-niece Tara Grover; and step-nephew Mike Grover. Gary is preceded in death by his parents; and step-brothers Steven and Robert Bender. The urn bearers will be Matthew Reisdorph, Elke Reisdorph, Robert Masters III and Christian Masters.

Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
