Obituary for Gary Lee Tucker Gary Tucker, 75, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge. Gary Lee Tucker, the son of James and Donna Tucker, was born November 12, 1942 in Fort Dodge and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1960. Gary served in the Air National Guard and in 1964, he married Maureen Jones.

To this union was born three children. The couple later divorced. Gary married Patricia Wells in 1991.

He worked as a land surveyor for many years and then worked for the City of Fort Dodge in the engineering department until his retirement in 2008. Gary was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed riding for many years. He was a current member of ABATE of Iowa and was also an active member of the Sertoma Service Club.

Gary is survived by his wife, Pattie; his children, Christopher (Liz) Tucker, Jennifer (Carl) Mesey; his step children, Benjamin Slagle, John (Jai) Slagle and Elaine (Dustin) Knoche and three grandchildren, Alyssa, Devon and Oscar. Gary is preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter Rebecca Ann Tucker. A Celebration of Gary’s Life will be held from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Friday, September 21, 2018 at the Rides Bar & Grill located at 723 S 31st Street in Fort Dodge.
